Jana, a leading voice in the field of sustainability innovation, is the Head of CSRD Policies and Engagement at Zurich Insurance. With over 13 years of experience in sustainability, her expertise lies in integrating sustainability practices with business strategies, improving ESG ratings, and enhancing corporate credibility working with financial services, technology, start-ups, and Fortune 500 institutions.
Dr. Paul Byrnes CEO at Mavarick AI
Paul is the founder of Mavarick, an innovative company developing AI solutions to drive sustainable transformation in supply chains. Before founding Mavarick, Paul held senior data science roles at Apple and IBM, where he designed AI-driven solutions that improved sustainability within supply chains across large organizations. His background includes a PhD in Machine Learning, an MSc in Decision Making Under Risk and Uncertainty, and a BA in Mathematics, equipping him with a strong foundation in AI, data science, and quantitative analysis. He is also a published author in several academic peer-reviewed journals.
